Insight is considered to involve not simply the recovery of repressed material (memories, affect, etc) but, more importantly, an understanding of the inter-relationships between the previously repressed material, the pathogenic process (the cause of the problem/dis-ease) , the symptoms produced, and the personality as a whole. It is the coherent intellectual formulation of a situation or problem.

The Aim of the Insight Centre - To bring about an understanding "Insight" for each client with regards to their situation/problem and to enable the client to move towards symptom relief and recovery.
